AI  that learns how you work

Done is useful. Done your way is better.

Apprentice works across your Mac, learns from your corrections, and carries your standards into the next task.

What Apprentice learns

Your modelling standard

Readable rules, each with a source.

Most AI starts every task from zero. Apprentice carries the working relationship forward.

Clear desktop

From cluttered to clear.

Apprentice sorts thirty-four loose files into four useful folders—and keeps every screenshot with the project it belongs to.

One correction.
Carried forward.

Hold fn anywhere on your Mac and say what should change. Apprentice fixes the work in front of you, then remembers the lesson for next time.

Memory that carries forward

The next task begins with what the last one taught.

Useful immediately

It follows your instruction.

Give it a spreadsheet, deck, research task, or folder to organise. Apprentice can get started before it knows anything about you.

Fresh installs start with empty memory. Everything it knows about you, you taught it.

Always within reach

The same Apprentice, wherever the work begins.

Points, never clicks

Ask where something is and it draws right on your screen: arrows, circles, highlights. It never moves your mouse. You stay the one driving.

Live call notes

Invite it to a call. It separates speakers, adds live captions, and gives you notes and follow-ups when the call ends.

Dictation anywhere

Hold fn and speak into any text field on your Mac. Cleaned up on device before it lands.

A text away

Connect Telegram once, then text Apprentice from anywhere. It responds from your Mac.

Built around your control

What it learns about you belongs to you.

Memory in files you own

Rules are stored in readable files and memory stays in a local database. Open, change, or delete them whenever you want. No export request needed.

Your own Claude account

Use a Claude Pro or Max plan, or your Anthropic API key. Reasoning follows the same path as using Claude directly. Apprentice never resells access.

Read everything it knows

The Inspector shows every fact, rule, conversation, and workflow Apprentice has kept. Delete one item or clear everything.

Learns only what you teach

Rules come from your corrections and the files you point it at. Nothing is learned behind your back.

One clear distinction: memory stays on your Mac, while reasoning runs through your own Claude account, just as it does when you use Claude directly.

Questions

The questions worth asking.

What does "it sees my screen" actually mean?

It looks when a task needs looking. It reads the window it is working in, and takes a screenshot only when a task needs vision. That screenshot goes to the model on your own Claude account, like an attachment you sent yourself. It is not recording your day.

Can it press buttons and click around my Mac?

No. It works apps through their real automation interfaces, like Excel's own scripting, and does file and web work directly. On screen it points: arrows, circles, highlights. It never moves your mouse. You stay the one driving.

Why is it free? What's the catch?

It is a beta, and you bring the Claude account Apprentice uses. Your model usage is billed by Anthropic, not marked up by us. Beta users will get notice before paid plans arrive. That promise is written into the terms.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

Say what needs changing. Apprentice turns the correction into a rule and applies it on future tasks. You can read, edit, or delete that rule at any time.

Do I need to learn prompting?

No. Talk to it the way you would talk across a desk. To give it a head start, show it a folder of finished work. Apprentice finds your conventions and links each one to its source.

Is my data used to train AI?

Apprentice never uses your data to train models. Your memory, rules, and files stay on your Mac, and reasoning runs through your own Claude account, the same path as using Claude directly.

Mac only?

macOS 14 or newer today. Windows is in development: the core already runs there and the native app is being built. In the meantime, the Telegram connection lets you message Apprentice from any device.
